About Bonnie Lass
Bonnie Lass was built at the Weatherhead Yard in Cockenzie (Scotland) in 1949. Bonnie Lass has been her name since first launched. She fished for herring in the North Sea and later, salmon off the East coast of Ireland. She was decommissioned from fishing in the 80’s. We found her outside the Maritime Museum in La Rochelle, France, in 2014 where she had spent 9 years as a live-aboard and as the committee boat for local regattas. Once back in Mallorca, we completed an extensive refit, replacing 30 metres of planking and 60 frames, as well as all the safety work required for MCA coding and aesthetics for chartering.
