Finca to Fork🍴

Anchor up in cristal clear waters under the backdrop of the Tramontana mountains for the perfect venue. Our huge Japanese Kamado ceramic charcoal grill gently smokes in the background as lunch is prepared in front of you. Its a Mediterranean family style experience, with shared platters. Get involved in the preparation, learn some of the recipes we have developed or just sit back and relax with a glass of fresh homemade lemonade.

The menu changes regularly depending what’s in season that week. Dishes are rooted in nature and have a pared-back feel, Fermenting and smoking plays a big part, and a focus on raw ingredients.

Our food, its growing and preparation has become our passion and a way of life.

    Where we started

    We have always enjoyed providing high quality catering aboard Bonnie Lass but found it so difficult to source good organic produce, so much of what we could find lacked flavour and overall the variety available was poor. It was then in 2022 we found a small finca for rent just outside the Port. We built raised beads concentrated on soil quality and the results were incredible.

  • Where we are now

    From preserving our own hand picked olives, collecting wild capers, making apple cider vinegar, smoking home grown chilli’s for Kristina’s signature sauce, raising rescued lambs. Building relationships with local organic producers and sustainable fishermen. Its not easy but its not supposed to be, its a way of life. The feedback is simple, This was the best meal we have had, such taste!

Drinks

We serve homemade lemonade, made with fresh lemons and mint from our small finca, light on the sugar, homemade ice tea, still and sparkling water.

Light white Sangría with our own twist! Cava, fresh oranges and lemons, soda, lavender a dash of vermouth and bingo, perfect summer tipple!

White and Rose wine from Mallorca (Ribas and Can Novell) and Estrella beer.

We have moved away from canned fizzy drinks but your welcome to bring your own or ask us to put some in the cooler for you.

What do we grow on our tiny farm?

Oranges, lemons, limes, figs, apples, plumbs, almonds, avocados, pomegranate, walnuts, tomatoes, kale, aubergine, zucchini, green beans, chillies, cucumber, red and green peppers, spring onions, rocket, Lettuce, wild spinach,  horseradish, ginger, physalis, broccolino, thyme, rosemary, garlic, oregano, chives, tarragon, basil, lemon grass, sage. To name but a few!

Experience for yourself what you can grow on such a small plot. Concentration on soil quality, using aspects of permaculture, saving seeds from the varieties that really thrive here. From the seed to the plate, its all just part of the process to move away from fast processed food. Taste the difference and enjoy the benefits of slow food.
